Mark A. Junell
Mark was born and raised in Houston,
Texas. He attended law school at South Texas College of Law in
Houston where he excelled as a member of the school's varsity moot
court and mock trial teams. In 2001, Mr. Junell won the National
Championship ABA Moot Court competition after arguing in front of
members of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago.
After law school, Mark spent 5 years litigating for one Texas’
oldest and largest law firms, Thompson Knight LLP. Mark then spent
two years practicing commercial litigation at a mid-sized boutique
firm in Houston.
Today, Mark focuses his practice on
general civil and complex commercial litigation in federal and state
trial and appellate courts, and before arbitration panels. He
represents clients in commercial disputes, contracts, personal
injury, construction litigation, business torts, fraud, real estate
disputes, deceptive trade practices, negligence, professional
liability, condemnation, corporate governance,
shareholder/partnership disputes, and trademark/copyright.
Mark is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Texas as
well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern
District of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the
Fifth Circuit.
Mark is a member of the State Bar of Texas,
American Bar Association, and Houston Bar Association. |
